Stanhope Agricultural Society formed in 1834, has held its annual show in Stanhope every year apart from the war years and during the Foot & Mouth outbreak.
The show is held on the second weekend every September
Pictures from the 2007 show are featured here....it was glorious weather on the Saturday and the crowds flocked to the event. Unfortunately due to the untimley outbreak of foot and mouth further South there were no cattle or sheep at this event
